 | Called in this bird on Michigan's spring turkey opener midday, without a blind, and took it using a bow.
The tom weighed 20 lbs, had a 9.25" beard, and sported 1 3/16" hooks.

 | been waterfowl hunting since 1980 starting out in potholes in the thumb and getting in the draw at harsens at 15 with my friends . starting out with an OLT wooden double reed and double barrel 20 gauge, i loved to decoy ducks. I love teaming up with Bob and his dad. Im looking foreward to getting more hunts on video this year and placing some previous footage on this website. good hunting!

 | Well with duck and goose season out in Mi.....FAT has been forced to chase fins and scales...The FAT crew hit the Saginaw river last Sunday....We got a total of eight eye's......we kept five legal eye's..........Ill have to say this was a first for being able to hit the water with the boat on 2/5/12.......Here's a pic of the guys with their fish......left to right....Bryce,Eathan and Tyler

 | F.A.T in the offseason...February 4th jigging on the Detroit River...pretty cold near the end of the trip, but river was clear of ice flows. Next day (Feb. 5th), we hit the Saginaw River for walleye. Hopefully Bob will post those pictures.

 | Well after a two day hunt in Central Oh we managed to kill ten birds. However, we saw a ton of birds but, they stayed in safe zones we could not hunt. Once again Jon's family took us in and treated us great. Thanks to Jon and Jake for all the hard work this season and we look fwd to killing some doves real soon. FYI Jake has decided to join the Marines next yr and the FAT team wants to say good luck and be safe.....Thx Jake for keeping us safe.

 | We'll guys the car is packed high with gear and the FAT team is on the way to kill some late season birds in central Oh. Scot and I will be joining forces with fellow FAT brothes John and Jake. John and Jake have been scouting the area for a few days in hopes to put us on the birds. John and Jake said the birds are here but..hard to find because this warm weather has opened up a ton of water... which has made the birds spread out. Stay tuned for field updates with yours trueley.

 | 1/18/12.....Max and me waiting out these hard to kill late season birds....hope to post a few kill pics p tonight:-).....We decided to go with a real big spread with a ton of space between decoys.....we tucked the blinds into the spread with a few big bulls in the front of the blinds to hide us a little better.....we will post up the result tonight....IF IT FLIES IT DIES

 | It was opening day, on our evening hunt, my husband, father in law, and I went out to our blinds...at dark we all met up, my father in law with a 4 point, my husband with a 5 point, and last, but certaintly not least, I came in first place with this 7 point. Needless to say it was a successful opening day for everyone!!

 | For the last 5 yrs Ive been going to Iowa for the duck opener with my oldest son and good friends from Stoddard Wi. This year was a little different as my youngest son was coming with for the first time! Although the hunting wasnt as intense as the 2010 opener we still had a great time with long time friends and great dog work.
